B4B was cold.

First off, sorry for the lack of posts, things around the house have been busy. I’ve been trying to coerce some people who know what they’re doing to interview with me, but minimal luck thus far unfortunately.

So, I had a busy Saturday, hitting up Modern Automotive Performance‘s annual Boost for Boobies car show and dyno day. It was around 40°F out and windy with flat, uninteresting clouds. However, I still shot some photos and got some video of a few dyno runs. The whole set is here.

I recorded the audio of the dyno runs with just my Zoom H4n, will post the videos when they’re done processing. For those not acquainted with a dyno or how loud it really is, it should be eye-opening.

Oh, I also headed over to the Mall of America to meet with some of the Brainerd Raceway folks, who were advertising the driving school. I met a few people there about event access and looks like I’ll be good to go for any HPDE and other non-SPEED-covered event, so I’ve added a couple to the calendar. I also ran into Ken from McNeill Media, who did all the video for the driving school. I also ran into Travis from First Gear Garage, who were showing off their BMW. I’ve been to First Gear a number of times with my own car; the business they run there is amazing and every big city should have one. Travis agreed to let me give the DPA’s their first real test in his Ferrari later this summer!
